Storm Talk

Talk

Finissage of the exhibition UNCERTAINTIES on Saturday, March 15, at 5 PM.

The artists Iwona Knorr and Ludger Orlok will engage in a conversation with local fishermen about uncertainties—a "storm talk" marking the conclusion of the exhibition.

With the exhibition UNCERTAINTIES, the Neue Kunsthaus Ahrenshoop makes a statement for a new, sustainable culture of travel. Through films, photographs, and installations, the exhibition documents personal and artistic experiences of slow travel. Created in cooperation with Künstlerhaus Lukas and RIMI/IMIR SceneKunst in Stavanger, Norway, the project is supported by the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Berlin. Artists Ludger Orlok, Iwona Knorr, and Mike Malajalian invite visitors on impressive journeys of discovery that transcend the familiar and bring the fascination of the unknown to life through artistic expression.

Generously supported by the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Berlin and with kind assistance from the Ministry of Science, Culture, Federal, and European Affairs of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, the Municipality of Ahrenshoop, the District of Vorpommern-Rügen, and the Sparkasse Vorpommern.
